1. Full circle argument: explain what argument Miller presents in Chapter 8 where she presents that contradictory gender dynamics operate within street gangs. Explain the myth system of gender equality – are the girls equal to their male peers in the gangs? What double standards do the girls face in the coed gangs? How do the girls respond to the idea of all-girl gangs and their members?

2. Giddings has an overall treatment system called resocialization. Explain what resocialization is, how it works and why it matters.
